Description:

This course will provide an update on clinical care for glaucoma patients. Glaucoma is the second leading cause of blindness globally and the most common cause of irreversible blindness. Current diagnostic approaches as well as recent clinical research outcomes will be reviewed with opportunities for discussion.

  • Understand current approaches to diagnose glaucoma
  • Be able to critically assess the impact of glaucoma on patients
  • Know the current recommended treatment guidelines recently published by ICO
  • Understand the findings from recent clinical trials
